Andy Zimmerman — President
Dr. Zimmerman has significant experience designing intelligent wireless sensing and embedded data processing systems, and he has published extensively in these areas. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering, as well as a M.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, all from the University of Michigan. While there, he was a recipient of the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship, the University of Michigan Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship, and the University of Michigan Greene Scholarship.
Jerry Lynch — Executive Vice President
Dr. Lynch is recognized as a world leader in the development of wireless sensing technology for application to structural health monitoring, and has a vast publication record in these areas. He is an associate professor in both the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. Recently, he was recognized by his peers as the 2009 Structural Health Monitoring Man of the Year.
Mike Priven — Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Priven has years of hands-on experience in embedded software architecture and development in the hi-tech industry, where he has worked since graduating from Stanford University with a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. Most recently, Mr. Priven held a Senior Software Engineer position at Trimble Navigation where he designed and developed state-of-the-art location-based navigation products utilizing the Global Positioning System (GPS) and served as a primary technical liaison between Trimble and its major European and Asian customers such as Siemens VDO, Bosch Blaupunkt and Seiko Epson.
Mark Bollinger — Vice President for Business Affairs
Dr. Bollinger has a wealth of experience running business operations for various companies with a science and technology focus. After spending thirteen years as a project manager, general manager, and eventually a VP of Technology and Quality Assurance at Corning, Inc., Dr. Bollinger transitioned to small business, where he spent five years as a VP of Sales and Marketing with Sievers Instruments, Inc. before founding 2B Technologies, Inc. in 1998. He sold his interest in 2B in 2005.
Kincho Law — Strategic Advisor
Dr. Law is a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, and is recognized as a world leader in the application of advanced computing principles and techniques to structural and facility engineering. His work has dealt with various aspects of computational science and engineering, computer aided-design, regulatory and engineering information management, and engineering enterprise integration.
